Emily Schwartzman

Interaction Designer

Hi! I'm an Interaction Designer currently working at Nextdoor in San Francisco (formerly at Cooper).

I believe that thoughtful design can make a meaningful impact in our lives. In my work, I combine in-depth research with a keen design sense to create interactive experiences that inspire and help people in achieving their goals.

My background is in HCI and Communication Design. Prior to moving to San Francisco I worked for a number of design firms and cultural organizations in New York. Please get in touch if you'd like to see some of my recent work.

When not designing my way to a better future, I can be found sketching, making jewelry, throwing pots on the wheel, or napping on the couch with my cats, Frutiger and Bodoni.

PROTOTYPING TOOL RESOURCE

Helping designers find the right prototyping tool
Cooper, 2015

Project Overview: After the success of a blog post I wrote for the Cooper Journal about current prototyping tools, I designed an interactive resource to help designers find the right prototyping tool for their needs.

This is a living document that will continue to be updated with more tools and up-to-date content for tools already on the list. Eventually other designers will be able to contribute their own testimonials about each of the tools.
