Invertebrate Zoology Department at the Carnegie Musuem of Natural History
A proposed traveling exhibit for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History was designed to increase awareness of the Invertebrate Zoology department.
A series of six displays was created, each dispelling a fear commonly associated with invertebrates. The displays combined a tactile demonstration with a pair of informative panels. The visual language plays off of classic B-movies to emphasize the absurdity of these fears. Shown here is an example of one of the sections as viewed from the exterior and interior, and a view of all six backdrop designs.
